Ben and Kate's wedding day was full of so many personal details that made it beautifully unique. Kate designed the invitations and the table place-mats with Ben-and-Kate-themed crossword puzzles. The wedding took place on Ben's family's farm in Dayton, VA. The day started out with a heavy thunderstorm - during which the guys played a round of Settlers of Catan and the girls prayed and peered out of the windows hoping for the rain to stop. The storm ended right before the ceremony, and left behind the most beautiful glowing drops on the forest's leaves. Kate unexpectedly fainted partway through the ceremony, but was able to finish the ceremony by exchanging their vows and rings while sitting cross-legged on the ground. It ended up being a sweet gesture of love and supporting each other in "sickness and in health," and they said they wouldn't have changed a thing about it!
